It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of Uki Garden Club. The club started 27 years ago in Uki with only eleven people; that is when the seed had been sown and from there it has flourished.
Sadly, many members did not return after Covid, so our membership took a nose dive and did not recover. We did not have any nominations at the Annual General Meeting ( 26/06/2025 ) for the key positions on the committee and so, under the terms of our constitution, the club had to be wound up.
Thank you to everyone who has made a contribution over the years and please know that it has been much appreciated.
Going forward, some of the members are forming an informal group to continue the tradition of our garden meetings. They will send out an email to existing members.
